Social Justice Ireland calls for halt to 'boom to bust' economy

Social Justice Ireland says the Government must avoid the "boom to bust sequences" that have characterised our economic in the past.

The group has released its 2014 Socio-Economic review this morning.

The 320-page document - entitled "Steps Towards A Fairer Future" - analyses the economic challenges facing Irish people and the impact of policies implemented by Government.

Dr Sean Healy, Director of Social Justice Ireland, says certain sectors and parts of the country need more support than others.
