Fianna Fáil's Thomas Byrne has been eliminated in the Midlands North West European election following the results of the sixth count.
He has confirmed he will not call for a recount.
There are still two seats to fill in the race for Europe.
Independent Luke Ming Flanagan and Fine Gael's Mairead McGuinness have both been elected in the constituency.
