Shatter calls on Flannery to appear before PAC
The Minister for Justice and Defence Alan Shatter is calling on Rehab director Frank Flannery to appear before the Public Accounts Committee.
Flannery is under pressure to answer questions about his role on the organisation's remuneration committee.
PAC added it has the power to compel the Fine Gael strategist to appear, however it does not want to have to use it.
Minister Shatter said if the committee has legitimate questions for Frank Flannery then they should be answered.
