Seven people, including three children, are recovering in hospital today after being injured during a police chase in west Belfast last night.
The seven were injured when a car being pursued by police collided with a taxi near the Poleglass roundabout at around 10pm.
The chase began when the car, which was carrying five people, including a baby, failed to stop for police. The taxi it collided with was being driven by a woman accompanied by two of her children, aged 15 and 10.
The PSNI has confirmed that the car involved was not stolen.
The Police Ombudsman has been informed about the incident.
