Schoolbooks.ie say they have cleared a backlog of customer orders which resulted from a technical issue in their warehouse.

Schoolbooks.ie say they have cleared a backlog of customer orders which resulted from a technical issue in their warehouse.

Thousands of orders had been delayed, leaving parents angry and leading to criticism from the Consumers' Association.

The company said that the remaining 1,400 orders from the backlog were sent to couriers GLS between last Friday and Saturday for delivery either yesterday or today.

Anyone with an outstanding order in this backlog is being urged to visit the schoolbooks.ie website and follow the link to the GLS online tracker to find out the delivery status of their order.

Schoolbooks.ie have apologised to any customers who experienced a delay in receiving their books and say that for those who have placed recent orders, usual delivery times apply.
