Rural town residents protest EU/IMF bailout

Residents of the Ballyhea in Co Cork are staging a protest this morning.

It is the second in a series of marches they say they will continue until such a time as they are satisfied over the terms of the EU/IMF bailout deal.

Around 45 people turned out for the protest last Sunday, but organisers say that they are confident that number will be higher today.
