Motorists are being advised to plan their journey before setting off on the roads this Bank Holiday Weekend.

Motorists are being advised to plan their journey before setting off on the roads this Bank Holiday Weekend.

The Road Safety Authority is reminding people to avoid "obvious killer behaviour" such as speeding, drinking or taking drugs while driving.

The June Bank Holiday Weekend is traditionally one of the busiest on the country's roads.

RSA Chief Noel Brett says it is important motorists are not tired before setting off on their journeys.
