Rehab call for Shatter to withdraw Dáil comments

The Rehab group has said it will seek legal advice in regard to comments made by the Justice Minister Alan Shatter about the Charitable Lotteries Scheme.

Rehab has filed judicial review proceedings to stop the minister from abolishing the scheme, which was established to compensate charities when the National Lottery was set up.

Rehab is the largest beneficiary of the scheme.

In a statement this evening, Rehab said it intends to make a statement regarding how much its CEO Angela Kerins is paid following a special board meeting on February 17th.

Ms Kerins has been resisting public and political pressure to reveal her salary.
