The Department of Children and Youth Affairs will begin the distribution of their information booklet on the Children's Rights Referendum today.
The Referendum is being welcomed by children's groups and charities all across the country and has been hailed as an historical and internationally significant step by Professor Pat Dolan of UNESCO.
However, the Unmarried and Separated Families of Ireland (formally known as the Unmarried and Separated Fathers of Ireland) are urging people to vote 'No' on November 10.
The group say they support the need to strengthen children's rights but they claim the proposed amendment aims to give the state more power to intervene in the family.
