People whose homes are affected by pyrite will be able to apply for state funding from tomorrow to fix the problem.
The Pyrite Resolution Board will assess applications from householders who have experienced subsidence and cracks in their properties.
The board has an initial budget of 10 million Euro.
The scheme applies only to houses that were built between 1997 and 2013 in Dublin City and Fingal Council areas, as well as in Counties Meath, Kildare and Offaly.
