PSNI investigating after man with firearm threatens rail workers

Police in Lurgan, Co.Armagh are investigating after rail workers were threatened this morning by a man with a firearm.

The workers were carrying out planned engineering on a section of the railway at Lake St.

The track is closed all weekend as part of a multi-million pound investment by the Northern Ireland Department for Infrastructure.

Police say work has ceased on the project and the line will remain closed.
