PSNI investigate Lisburn fires

Police in the North are investigating the cause of a fire at three commercial premises in Lisburn.

The alarm was raised at around 4am this morning that three adjoining premises - a chip shop, a taxi office and a convenience store - in the Pembroke Loop Road area were on fire.

It is believed that rubbish had been stacked up to the front of the properties and set alight.

The three units were totally destroyed in the fire.

The PSNI is appealing to any witnesses to the fire to come forward.
