Probe launched into alleged abduction in Cavan
Gardaí in Cavan and Meath are investigating an alleged abduction from a dwelling in Co. Cavan overnight.
It's understood an incident in which a sum of cash was stolen from a post office in Co. Meath is related to the abduction.
One person is being treated in hospital for minor injuries sustained during the incident.
