Pro Cathedral to host New Year's Eve Festival

Dublin's Pro Cathedral will open its doors to visitors and regulars tonight by hosting a prayer and musical event to welcome 2012.

Dublin's Pro Cathedral will open its doors to visitors and regulars tonight by hosting a prayer and musical event to welcome 2012.

The Cathedral will join in the city celebrations for the Dublin New Year's Eve Festival.

The celebrations in St. Mary's begin with Mass at 6pm, followed by a special Concert of Festive Music until 8pm.

The Pro Cathedral has hosted capacity crowds for the past two weeks for Christmas celebrations and live music events, with more than 1,200 people attending Carols and Mass on Christmas Eve.
