A post mortem will be carried out this afternoon after a woman's body was discovered in Waterford city yesterday evening.

A post mortem will be carried out this afternoon after a woman's body was discovered in Waterford city yesterday evening.

Gardai launched an investigation after the remains of a woman in her 60s were found at a house at Killure Grove in St John's Park, at approximately 6pm.

The scene has been sealed off to allow a technical examination, and the post mortem will take place at Waterford Regional Hospital.
