Thousands of students celebrating the end of their Leaving Cert exams are being urged to drink responsibly, if they plan on consuming alcohol.

Thousands of students celebrating the end of their Leaving Cert exams are being urged to drink responsibly, if they plan on consuming alcohol.

Drinkaware.ie is also urging students not to pressurise anyone who does not want to drink.

They state if you are a male, low-risk drinking guidelines say that you should not have more than 17 standard drinks in a week.

Females should stick to 11 or fewer drinks in a week, only you are over 18-years-old of course.
