Gardaí in Dublin are investigating a pipe bomb attack on a house in the south of the city last night.
The bomb exploded in the front garden of the house on Monasterboice Road in Crumlin at around 11pm.
Nobody was injured in the incident.
A number of houses were evacuated while army bomb disposal experts examined the remains of the device, but the area was declared safe shortly afterwards.
A forensic examination is due to get underway at the scene this morning.
