Pipe bomb attack in Roscommon investigated
Gardaí are investigating reports that an explosive device was left in a commercial premises in Roscommon town overnight.
The army bomb disposal team was called out to the scene at the Stonecourt area in the town earlier today.
The area was sealed off for a time as the team investigated but they declared the area safe this afternoon.
Gardaí are now carrying out a technical examination.
