The Progressive Democrat manifesto for the local elections has been launched in Dublin this afternoon.
134 PD candidates will be contesting seats across the country, focusing on the issues of crime, housing and planning.
PD backbenchers are reported to be have said that they won't be actively campaigning for the Government's referendum on citizenship.
Minister of State Tom Parlon says that they will discuss the referendum if it is raised, but that it doesn't seem to be a burning issue for the public.
