The Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport says he doesn't want to go in to government with Fianna Fáil.
Paschal Donohue says he does not want to go in to coalition with Micheál Martin's party after the general election.
The Fine Gael TD for Dublin Central says he doesn't believe there is an alternative to the Fine Gael-Labour coalition.
"I don't want to go into government with Fianna Fáil, I believe they did huge damage to the country in their last term of office.
"We're going forward top ask people to consider voting for ourselves with the Labour party, to ask them to give them a preference after they've voted for a Fine Gael candidate,
"The reason why we're doing that is that we look at all of the options that are on the opposition benches.
"We'd ask people to consider that there isn't an alternative government there that's capable of keeping the recovery going and capable of giving them stability."
