: The Garda Representative Association say it’s ‘simply breath-taking’ that one in five garda stations still do not have access to the internet.
There are currently 111 garda stations without a connection.
It means gardaí in these stations cannot log on to the Pulse system.
GRA spokesperson John O’Keeffe says it is unbelievable.
"There's no point in having a garda station if it doesn't have any internet facilities," said Mr O’Keeffe.
"If it doesn't have any internet facilities then we cannot provide a service to the public. And this is outrageous and the public deserve a lot more than this. "
Almost 1 in 5 Garda stations still do not have internet connection.
The information was disclosed by Justice Minister Charlie Flanagan in response to a Dáil question.
He revealed that out of 564 operational stations, 111 do not have access to the internet.
It means that Gardaí in these stations cannot log on to the force's internal Pulse computer system.
