'Outrageous' that some garda stations do not have internet connection

Update 12pm:: The Garda Representative Association say it’s ‘simply breath-taking’ that one in five garda stations still do not have access to the internet.

There are currently 111 garda stations without a connection.

It means gardaí in these stations cannot log on to the Pulse system.

GRA spokesperson John O’Keeffe says it is unbelievable.

"There's no point in having a garda station if it doesn't have any internet facilities," said Mr O’Keeffe.

"If it doesn't have any internet facilities then we cannot provide a service to the public. And this is outrageous and the public deserve a lot more than this. "
