The jury in the trial of Joe O'Reilly will resume its deliberations later this morning.

The jury in the trial of Joe O'Reilly will resume its deliberations later this morning.

The nine men and two women considered a verdict for over three hours yesterday and were sent to a hotel last night.

Just before 6pm yesterday, they asked for transcripts of the evidence of Derek Quearny, who provided the accused's alibi.

They also requested the evidence of a garda who drove Mr O'Reilly's Fiat Marea as part of a reconstruction from Murphy's Quarry in the Naul to the Broadstone bus depot on Dublin City's northside.
