Police in the north are investigating the death of a teenage boy who is understood to have been bullied online.

It is believed Ronan Hughes from County Tyrone took his own life after being duped into posting images on the internet. Police in the north have started investigating his death.

The 17-year-old was found dead in the Coole Road area of Coalisland on Friday.

The PSNI has issued a warning about posting information and images online in the wake of the tragedy.

They are urging young people who may have experienced a similar incident to tell a trusted adult, or to contact police.
