No increase in road toll fees next year

The cost of travelling on a stretch of motorway in Ireland will remain the same next year.

The cost of travelling on a stretch of motorway in Ireland will remain the same next year.

Toll operators have published a list of charges in national newspapers today indicating there will be no increase to tolls on motorways.

Under bye-laws, tolls can only be changed in line with inflation. They have opted not to reduce prices either, however.
