Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to a car crash in Co Galway last night which claimed the life of a 19-year-old man.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to a car crash in Co Galway last night which claimed the life of a 19-year-old man.

Six people were travelling in the car on the Inagh Road in Connemara at around 2am when it left the road and overturned.

The victim, who was a passenger in the car, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The five others were taken to hospital but their injures are not believed to be life-threatening.
