The father of Nicola Furlong said his "blood was boiling" as he listened to evidence in the trial of the man accused of killing his daughter in Tokyo last year.
Nicola's sister Andrea Furlong today called for the death penalty as her victim impact statement was read out in court. The 19-year-old said she wanted to see a "life for a life".
Richard Hinds has for the first time admitted to having both hands around Nicola's neck on the night she died.
Nicola's father Andrew said he had, at times, found it difficult to control himself during the trial.
"My blood was boiling. My stomach was churning," he said. "There was a couple of times I felt like going over and catching (Richard Hinds and the defense team)by the throat and asking them 'What does that feel like?'…That's how much my blood was boiling."
