New Zealand recruitment drive gets underway

A one-off recruitment drive for 36,000 jobs in New Zealand gets underway in Dublin today.

It is part of a major project to help rebuild the city of Christchurch, which was devastated by last year's earthquake.

Positions are needed across a range of sectors including engineering, construction, accounting and healthcare.

The company hosting the recruitment day is "Working In" - Chief Executive Scott Mathieson said that re-building work will start in Christchurch early next year:
