A new report will be published later today which recommends that the Government introduces mandatory pensions for all workers in Ireland.

A new report will be published later today which recommends that the Government introduces mandatory pensions for all workers in Ireland.

The OECD report is also expected to recommend means-testing the free travel scheme and the fuel allowance.

Six out of every 10 workers in the private sector in Ireland currently have no work-based pension,- and will have to rely on the State pension when they retire.
