New EU rules to slash mobile roaming charges from tomorrow

The cost of using a mobile phone abroad is about to be slashed.

From tomorrow, the EU will enforce a lower price cap on downloading data.

That means looking at maps, checking emails and sending pictures in Europe will become 36% cheaper.

It will cost around 17% less to make a call.
