A yellow weather warning has been issued across Ireland for low air temperatures overnight.

A yellow weather warning has been issued across Ireland for low air temperatures overnight.

Lows of between -3 or -4C, with lows of -5 and -6 in rural areas.

Patches of ice are to be expected on roads and freezing fog in some areas also.

Extreme care is advised if travelling tonight and early tomorrow.
