The National Museum's described the discovery of 81 gold coins at a Tipperary pub as 'significant'.

The National Museum's described the discovery of 81 gold coins at a Tipperary pub as 'significant'.

Dating from the 1630's to the early 17 hundreds, they were discovered in the foundations of a pub on the Main Street in Carrick-on-Suir.

Experts have yet to figure out the actual value of the coins.
