Murdered Aoife to be buried today
The funeral is due to take place later in Co. Laois of murder victim Aoife Phelan.
The 30-year-old's body was discovered buried at the rear of a house on the Timahoe Road outside Portlaoise last Wednesday.
A post mortem revealed she suffered injuries to her head and neck.
Yesterday, 24-year-old Robert Corbet of Sheffield, Timahoe Road, Portlaoise appeared in court charged with her murder.
Aoife will be laid to rest this afternoon, following 2pm mass in St Patrick's church, in Ballyroan.
