An inquiry into the death of a 31 year-old woman in a Dublin hotel has been upgraded to murder.

Sonia Blount's body was discovered in a hotel room at the Plaza Hotel yesterday afternoon.

A man aged in his 20s remains in custody at Tallaght Garda Station in connection with the incident.

Gardai upgraded their inquiry to murder following the results of a post mortem.
