Motorists are being advised to be cautious on the roads this morning after freezing conditions overnight.
In Munster, some of the worst affected routes are around Thurles and Ennis.
In Leinster, extreme care is needed in Longford, Portlaoise, Tullamore, Kilkenny City and Mullingar.
In Ulster, motorists are being advised to take care in particular around Cavan town and Letterkenny, while in Connacht the AA says Sligo and Roscommon routes are causing problems this morning.
Temperatures dropped to as low as -3C in some areas, with ice expected to remain a factor on many routes this morning.

"It was quite frosty overnight," said Sinead Tyrell from AA Roadwatch.
"Frost and ice is expected throughout the country this morning. If you are driving in these kind of conditions, motorists are being advised to reduce their speed significantly and to keep a safe distance from the vehicle in front and to leave yourself plenty of extra time to reach your destination."
