Mortgage arrears report to offer solutions for homeowners
A report into the mortgage arrears resolution process will be published later today, by the Oireachtas Finance Committee.
It is hoped the report could provide reasonable solutions for homeowners through the 40 recommendations it is expected to make.
Committee Chairperson Ciarán Lynch says the report is not conclusive, but it does present some positive indications for the future.
He said: "It's about giving people the widest range of options, while meeting their obligations."
The committee worked with the four leading Irish banks to compile the report.
