Holders of tracker mortgages will see their monthyl payments decrease after the European Central Bank cut its main interest rate by a quarter of 1% today.

More good news for tracker-mortgage holders

Holders of tracker mortgages will see their monthly payments decrease after the European Central Bank cut its main interest rate by a quarter of 1% today.

The rate, now at 0.25%, means the holders of tracker mortgages will see their repayments fall from next month.

It is estimated that about 400,000 mortgage holders in Ireland will benefit from the move.
