The meat supplier at the centre of the horsemeat controversy has said it has passed the details of the Polish supplier to the Irish authorities.
McAdams Foods based in Co Monaghan last night identified itself as the source of the contaminated meat products.
It was supplier of the raw material to Rangeland Foods, which tested positive for 75% horse DNA, and to Silvercrest Foods which has lost multi-million euro contracts with Tesco, Aldi and Burger King.
McAdams Foods said it bought the product labelled 100% beef in good faith from the company based in Poland.
Yesterday, gardaí and a team of special investigators from the Department of Agriculture raided the home of McAdams Foods owner Martin McAdam and seized records, laptops and other electronic material.
In a statement last night, the company said it had "no awareness or knowledge whatsoever" of the horsemeat.
