Fine Gael MEP Mairead McGuinness says it is only right that there is a high level of competition for the Presidency of Ireland.

The MEP has embarked on a whistle-stop tour of every constituency in the country in the lead up to the party convention on July 9, when the Fine Gael candidate will be named.
