All 20 TDs in Fianna Fáil have been given jobs on Micheál Martin's new front bench.
Former Finance Minister Brian Lenihan retains the finance portfolio, while Cork TD Michael McGrath is appointed spokesman on public expenditure and financial sector reform.
Former Taoiseach Brian Cowen's brother Barry gets a position as social protection spokesman, while the two other Dáil newcomers Robert Troy and Charlie McConalogue have been given the Arts and Children portfolios.
Micheál Martin said he intended to make further appointments in the coming weeks to provide a "robust and constructive" opposition to the Government.
