Mars recalls chocolate drinks amid health fears
Mars Chocolate Drinks has announced a recall of some sports-cap milk drink products.
There is a possible health risk from the drinks, due to the potential presence of bacteria in them.
The affected drinks were manufactured by Milchwerke Mittelelbe GMBH, with best before dates between December 19, 2014 and April 11, 2015.
Mars Chocolate Drinks is working with the Food Safety Authority of Ireland to ensure all appropriate measures are being followed.
The affected products are Starburst Strawberry Drink, Skittles Drink, Galaxy Smooth Milk, Mars Milk and Milky Way Milk, all 350ml.
