The body of a man has been recovered following a fire at a funeral home in Ardee, Co Louth.

The body of a man has been recovered following a fire at a funeral home in Ardee, Co Louth.

The man, believed to be a Lithuanian national, was found dead by search teams who were battling the blaze. The body was discovered late last night.

The fire broke out at around 5.15pm yesterday at Finlay's funeral services.

The fire is believed to have started accidentally.
