Man shot in back and knees during Armagh attack

A 23-year-old man is recovering in hospital after being shot in the back and knees during a gun attack in Armagh last night.

A 23-year-old man is recovering in hospital after being shot in the back and knees during a gun attack in Armagh last night.

The incident happened in the Mullacreevie area of the city shortly before midnight.

The victim is said to be in a stable condition in hospital.

The PSNI says it is investigating a motive for the shooting and is appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
