Man remanded in custody in relation to Dublin tiger kidnapping

A man has appeared in court in connection with last week's tiger kidnapping in Dublin.

A man has appeared in court in connection with last week's tiger kidnapping in Dublin.

An AIB worker was forced to hand over an estimated €200,000 in cash, before a gang of three men released his housemate near the Red Cow Roundabout.

Gardaí later arrested three men and recovered €30,000.

Twenty-three-year-old Ross Caffrey from Ballybough appeared before Tallaght District Court this morning, charged with two counts of false imprisonment and one count of possession of stolen goods.

He has been remanded in custody to appear before Cloverhill District Court next Tuesday, while gardaí continue to question another man.
