Man questioned over organised crime in Kildare released without charge

A man in his 50s, who had been questioned by gardaí investigating organised crime in County Kildare, has been released without charge.

A man in his 50s, who had been questioned by gardaí investigating organised crime in County Kildare, has been released without charge.

He was arrested on Friday and brought to Naas Garda Station after gardaí searched a house in Allenwood.

A handgun and ammunition were recovered during the raid.

The man was released last night, and a file is being sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
