A man has died in a crash in Co Wexford overnight.

A man has died in a crash in Co Wexford overnight.

Two vans collided at Tinnock, near Gorey, shortly before 10pm last night.

A man in his early 40s who was the driver of one of the vehicles was pronounced dead at the scene.

The second driver, who is 38, has been taken to St Vincent's Hospital in Dublin for treatment to injuries which are believed to be serious but not life-threatening.

A technical examination of the scene is to be carried out and the road between Tinnock and Killinerin has been closed for the time being.
