A man has been killed in a road crash in Co Offaly.

A man has been killed in a road crash in Co Offaly.

The single vehicle collision happened at 3.20 this afternoon on the Tullamore to Ballingar Road.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The road is closed and local diversions are in place.

It is the sixth fatal crash on Irish roads since Saturday.
