A 21-year-old man has been shot in Dublin overnight.

A 21-year-old man has been shot in Dublin overnight.

The gun attack happened at Slieve Bloom Park in Drimnagh at around 5.10am this morning.

He was rushed to St James' Hospital and is being treated for injuries to his leg.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses.
