A man remains in a Dublin hospital tonight after he was shot and injured on the southside of the capital.

A man remains in a Dublin hospital tonight after he was shot and injured on the southside of the capital.

The 18-year-old is understood to have been shot at the Memorial Park in Dublin at approximately 3pm this afternoon.

He was rushed to St. James's Hospital where his condition is, as yet, unknown.

Anyone with information is being asked to contact Kilmainham Garda Station.
