A man in his 50s has been charged in relation to the murder of a woman in Dublin yesterday.

A man in his 50s has been charged in relation to the murder of a woman in Dublin yesterday.

Sixty-six-year-old Mary Dargan died after she was shot at a house in Killinarden Estate in Tallaght on Saturday afternoon.

The man is also charged in relation to the attempted murder of Ms Dargan's 34-year-old daughter, who is being treated in Tallaght hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

The man will appear before Dublin District Court tomorrow morning at 10.30pm.
