A man has been seriously injured following a collision in county Tipperary.

A man has been seriously injured following a collision in county Tipperary.

The single car incident happened on the M7 at Junction 22 in Roscrea earlier.

Gardaí say the M7 is closed at junction 22 northbound while they carry out a forensic examination of the scene and motorists are advised that diversions are in place.

Gardai are appealing for any witnesses to contact Nenagh garda station on 067-50450 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1-800-666-111.
